For years I have SLOGGED over journalling, informing the world in great detail about the exciting events of my daily life (whether it wanted to know or not). Tales of adventure, joy, sorrow, hardship, heartache and dead rodents have graced these pages.

And do I get any recognition? Any world wide acclaim? Hoards of internet fangirl/boys? Do I hell.

Then, I introduce thesme_01 to the wonderful world of livejournal and her FIRST EVER ENTRY ends up quoted in The Guardian.
