(no subject)

So yesterday's general crapness continued into the evening. Even things at the stables didn't go so well, Ziggy wasn't eating (tho I think she just doesn't like the crappy new feed dessie bought) and it was way too stormy to ride.

Then, to top it all off, the electricity went out about 10.30 or so. Lit many candles and read for a bit then went to bed with 2 duvets only to be woken up baking at about 3am when the electricity came back on, along with the lights and the heating. What *didn't* come back on was the alarm clock, so I slept til nearly 10, got to work about half past. Yay.

And thus ends Monday's tale of woe. Today hasn't started out so well, but will hopefully improve as the day goes on.
Still have the cold tho ;p

You might even have heard already, but UIM Alan has got engaged to the Turkish Orthodentist (can't remember her name alas ;p) and is planning a possible easter wedding!

Talk about a u-turn from Mr 'keep your options open' commitmentphobe! It's so sweet ;) Met her at the Electric Picnic, tho mostly I was either drinking myself senseless on Pimms or driving home v. hungoverly, so it's all a bit vague but she seemed lovely!

He even beat Gavin and Seorse to it (unless I just haven't heard ;p)!
