Bored. Bored bored bored. Played around with the fancy new Icon Createy thing LJ have made and LO, a new icon, of the fab 'gerry the shriner' pic [livejournal.com profile] mivvvv did for me many moons ago.

It's been a fairly busy week, even at work. Have been playing about with GIS now that we've finally had the training course and even cunning figured out why some of our data was going wonky. Go me!

Other than that, buggerre alle to report. Another quiet weekend ahead, in which I will hopefully get some reading done and even write some letters (sorry guys ;p).

Anyone got any Exciting plans to share?

Still bored. About to go to bank with pay cheque and have an urge to spend money on something totally pointless, possibly an mp3 player thingy.
I know very little about these creatures and yet I want one (possibly to relieve some work boredom).

Can't really buy any more books or dvds, because the queue of Unread/unwatched is getting too long to add to. Will have to be careful in the tack shop later, must NOT buy new horse stuff.

Any suggestions?

ETA I decided that, since the place I mostly listen to music is in the car, the mp3 thing can wait. So I bought a DS instead. A blue one! With PUPPIES OMG.

Also, peering at the sale in Sony, I very sensibly decided buying a new camera would be silly if they could just fix the old one. So I asked how much. £52 in labour + £40 'booking fee'. So thats AT LEAST £92 quid to fix a camera that only cost about £130 2 years ago.
The newer, smaller, more pixelly, all round better ones now cost about that. Hmm.
