Hmm. 3pm and no word of blocked roads - by this time yesterday we'd already sent some people home and were getting ready to leave as well.

Hopefully this means the idiots have run out of steam. Or the OMG THE BABY pictures on all the newspapers have hit home.
It would be nicer to believe that all the many comments about the millions of pounds in damages and even more millions lost in potential investment and tourism hit home, but I doubt it.

Edit - Bollocks. just checked the traffic watch thingy and the roads round dunmurry are blocked again. Getting home will be Interesting. I KNEW i should have left at 4 :(

The little toddler who got his skull fractured when ... (can't quite think of an appropriately damning word) rioting fuckwits smashed a brick through the car he was in - every single paper here had his picture on the front page today.

Mind you even when the 3 Quinn boys were burnt to death when their home was firebombed during the Drumcree riots it didn't stop the fuckwits, because of course it wasn't THEIR fault, it was the fault of the parades commission, the police, the government, the pan-nationalist front and just about everybody EXCEPT the ones who threw the fire bombs and the politicians who encouraged them.

*takes a deep breath*
