See *part* of my brain knows this. It is saying "look it's a tiny leetle thing. Look at its cute wee ears. Just get it out of harm's way, poor little mite".
Unfortunately this gets drowned out by the rest of my brain screaming "OMFG MOUSE MOUSE AAARRRGHGGHGHG. Quick stand on something HIGH. Look at the TAIL the TAIL not the ears the HORRIBLE TAIL OF MOUSELY EVIL. FLEE BEFORE IT EATS US PRECIOUS" Or something along those lines.
It really is the tails tho. The poor thing did look almost cute and so tiny and furry lying there on the mat and I wanted to rescue it. Then the tail moved and I screamed.
Still, I am getting much better! There was a time when you couldn't have gotten me into the room with a mouse and I'd have had to phone someone to come get it out. So the grand Cat Conspiracy to rid me of my mousophobia is slowly working.
