True. But I think that each time something like this or the 90 day thing is mooted, even if it doesn't pass into law, it errodes our outrage at further infringments of human rights. It's like we say to ourselves, well this isn't as bad as that 90 day thing, so we don't complain about it - or in the worst cases it doesn't even merit reporting in the media.
