Trams, Trams in THE NIGHT

hellisonSo. Trams of death in Melbourne... what is up with that place? They wanted us DEAD I'm sure of it! When the trams weren't trying to ram us, the crazy drivers were coming at us from all angles.
MAD all of them. And I'm not even getting into that crazy right turning shit.
Anyway, trams that JUMP UP YOUR BUTT aside, Melbourne was fun - even the hours and hours and HOURS of car was kinda fun. We saw lots of burnt fields, and cows. And John said 'hmm, yass' A LOT. We missed the MYASS sign on the way back tho :/
But there was shopping for tacky stuff, and fun comedy shows and v. impressive views from the top of the Rialto big tower thingy. And the snappy shark things. They rock pretty good.
In other news, I only have a week left :( In fact this time next week I will be back in Belfast, which is making me sad. Altho not *quite* sad enough yet to take John up on the leg-breaking offer...
Still, plenty left to do and see this week, what with zoos (so i can see Live Forn Aminals, rather than just big road kill), observatory, and maybe even bridge climbing to do! Plus more lazing. There must be lots more lazing!
And yum cha too, have to do that apparently.
Hmm. I am sure Other Stuff has happened, but I can't remember when I last updated and I can't be arsed checking. John took me to the open air swimming pool, which was a very good place. I liked it very much!
Aha I nearly forgot! THE SPEEDING TICKET! that was a highlight if ever there was one! 15 years driving in uk and ireland and never a ticket to my name, and FIFTEEN MINUTES driving in australian and Hello flashy lights and Mr Cop! He was a very nice Mr Cop and didn't even mind too much that I had no licence or anything, but he still gave me a ticket, woe.
Still, one more Exciting Travel Anecdote to tell... tho the naked woman at 6am would have been more exciting, if I'd gotten out of bed to see her.
