I remember being terrified when I was younger by an ad promoting pool safety - basically someone floating, eerily, drowned, in a swimming pool, shot from an underwater perspective so you get that ghostly quality of drifting white clothes and so on, with ominous scary music and THIS COULD BE YOU, PH43R commentary.
As I recall, my most coherent thought at the time was "well, next time I find myself in trouble in the water, the memory this ad is REALLY going to help me relax and stay calm".
Did you know that most drowning deaths actually tend to occur as a result of the person... well... PANICKING?
