Another grey wet monday - isn't this supposed to be at least *Spring*?

Anyway, the weekend was great!

thesme_01's not-surprise-party went very well, tho it did get worryingly Hoff-centric at times, particularly when she printed out PICTURES to share, leading to someone (nash?) yelling "Don't Bogart The Hoff!", which is now my new favourite phrase you never think you'll hear.
We did discover tho, after I very cleverly stood on glass and grabbed the nearest one to stem the flow (once I'd actually *noticed* I was bleeding profusely), that the one thing more disturbing than the Naked-Hoff-With-Puppies picture, is a Naked-Hoff-With-Puppies-Picture-Covered-In-Blood [1].
Other highlights included dancing, the endless movie game, more dancing, huge platefuls of pavlova and taking turns to give Thesme a Birthday Lapdance (I suspect my extreme pleasure at her embarrasment and cackling of "hahaha revenge is Sweet!" may have led to the Standing On Glass. Karma can be a bitch ;p). And of course drunkenly rambling at each other after everyone had gone, before crawling to bed sometime around 6ish.

Spent saturday very gradually making my way home, stopping off to visit various other friends, being fed and even being allowed to watch Dr. Who. Which wasn't the best episode really, but still! Made it to Ruthie's just in time to read Cora a bedtime story too, which was sweet.

Sunday was spent in a leisurely fashion with family, helping the BiL with the babies while Mum and Karen escaped to go shopping. Also getting to hear Aoife say her first proper word (quack, for the record).
And that's about it really.
