Finally I have a horse to mount once more! Ziggy has returned, extremely fat, but happy and even seems glad to be back - I think she's enjoying the attention.
Wasn't sure quite how she'd react to being ridden again after 4 months of freedom, but she was an angel and wandered round quite happily and even trotted for a bit, tho she wasn't quite so keen putting the effort in there.
So now we can start getting her fit again - and slim. I've even found a low-cal horse feed 'slim and healthy' for her, which she seems to like.
All I have to do now is convince her not run off when I try to catch her. Tho I guess trudging round the field after her is getting me fit too, so I shouldn't complain too much!
