I am back, did you miss me? For all of those 2 days ;p
Had very nice break - which was needed for recovery after the excitement of Tentmeet (tho I still have the bloody cold *sneezes*). I STILL have Whistling in the Dark going round and round in my head in a continuous loop too.
Spent the 12th in the traditional manner - doing absolutely bugger all while watching the funny men in hats on the telly. Then drinking.

Yesterday did the family thing, helped Mum do some packing, including taking pictures and stuff off the walls, which was odd, but it's All For The Best etc. Then we sat out in the sun.
Got back home, chatted to teh lovely

thesme_01 in a very mature and grown=up phone call that did not at all include shouting, singing, LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU or pressing of buttons to beeeeeep her out. Then drank some more cider and stayed up far too late on the mud.
Was very much cheered by finding out my bat clothes can still squick the witches - 'they're MADE of bat? That's HORRIBLE'. It was a proud moment ;)

Work today is... deserted. Totally. I've been here nearly an hour (go Translink and them having a saturday service on a friday!) and I haven't seen a single person yet, apart from the door folk. it is a lovely sunny day too. I wonder what times the trains are lunchtimeish...

i had Efficient Plans involving coming in early. sadly these were scuppered by, er, setting my alarm for 7pm instead of 7am and waking up (admittedly well-rested) at 9.30am. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

AND the man in the tiny clements coffee place (where i stop the bike* and make them give me lovely caffeine in my wee ikea flask to take up to the office) had broken the coffee grinder, and could only offer me filter, sob.

hehe ;p It is on Discworld mud (http://discworld.atuin.net)". If you play a witch char. you can summon a fruitbat to carry stuff for you and Be Your Friend, witches get very attached to their bats.
They wanted Clothes to make them Pretty so, back when I still Made Things for the mud, I made them clothes. Out of batskin ;) There's even a little skull hat I think.

i thought it was impressive until i realised it was only about 6 miles per day, bah. (everyone else seems to be dieting. meanwhile i am determined to get Fitter in order to go on self-propelled holidays without suffering the usual limb collapse - see me and the west highland way 2003, 2004 & 2005.)

haven't been yet - was supposed to go with SS & co. last night but didn't get home in time. maybe next week? cheap tuesday perhaps? (i'd say saturday, but this depends on the weather - it's forecast to be scorching so i might cycle out to holywood and go paddling. then cycle back, ditch bike and look for a beer garden...)

Cheap tuesday could be a Plan. Scorching tomorrow eh? Hmm. Garden or beach...
