This really is my biggest sin and its a terrible thing. Putting off things til tomorrow is one thing, but in my case, tomorrow never seems to come, so things drift on and on until it all goes haywire.

An example - I just realised I've been carrying around the electricity bill since I got home from oz, to post off the monies. It was overdue when I got home nearly 6 weeks ago ffs. I have the bill, my cheque book, stamps, everything right there and I don't do anything, because I look at it EVERY DAY and think 'I'll do that later'.

And thats just one of many many things, all of which could come crashing down very soon... but somehow the days drift past without me noticing.
It's like a bizarre version of groundhog day. In my HEAD it's the same day over and over again, but the time for the rest of the world keeps moving on without me and I end up running like fuck to catch up with it when I realise.

Or rather I look up say 'shit I should start running now. I'll do it later' and lapse back into 'meh'.

So! I am going to use this whole LJ thing to try and keep a track of the days so I can see the time pass - I had to check the calendar to see how long it was since i got home from oz. I honestly thought it was about 3 weeks and I have no idea where the rest of the time went, it's lost in a haze of apathy.

Well woohoo :p i've paid the bills, put the cheques in the bank and hopefully not only sorted the rather huge pension fuckup i made, but possibly gotten away with it (keeping an eye out for any pesky kids in the vicinity tho).

All i have to do now is reword and send off the letter i SHOULD have sent 6 months ago. phew!
maybe i'll even sleep tonight...

In other news, am going to visit my horsie tonight, she's off on a break for 2 months, living out with other horsies in a big field, so taking a run down there this evening to check everything is ok.
Plus, its nearly the weekend, hurrah!
