Feb. 28th, 2005 10:09 amHad a great quiet weekend, hurrah. And we even, somehow, won the rugby.
Bought the Sunday life just to see if their Johnny Adair 'exclusive' still ran since a. every knew about it already and b. everyone just laughed.
But they did http://www.sundaylife.co.uk/news/story.jsp?story=615079
It's the crappest kind of sensationalist drag-a-story-out-of-nothing. My favourite bit is this...
Said Adair: "I have said all along that I would visit the homes of the top UDA men to show them that I wasn't afraid to confront them.
I decided to start at the top with my first visit, and that's why I went to Spence's home. There wasn't a peep out of him, and I don't know if he knew I was outside his home.
See, Johnny, if you didn't actually MEET him, you didn't confront him. You didn't even get as afar as ringing his doorbell and running away.
The worst of it is I know the guy who wrote this shite. He has done quite a lot of work to get this close to Adair, but really, reading that, it wasn't worth it. There are tossers ranting on flame who could have done a better job.
