Whats the story...
May. 9th, 2005 11:02 amWell child being baby sat survived the weekend. Probably in better shape than me! I am not good with sleep deprivation ;p
Also, having watched the same 6 episodes of Balamory over and over and OVER again, the songs are now indelibly etched on my brain and I CAN'T GET THEM OUT.
I have to say, it is a rather surreal programme... but that may just be the effect of having to watch it at 6.30 am after 4 hours sleep. Still it was mostly a fun weekend, Leo was in great form, we only had one big tantrum and I even managed not to kill my mother. Tho it came close when the first thing she said to him sunday morning was 'balamory' and he immediately ran off to put it on.
It is impressive that at 18 months he can work the dvd tho.
By the time I got home sunday evening tho I was wrecked and asleep on the sofa by 10pm. Oh and for anyone who was trying to get hold of me over the weekend, I very cleverly left the mobile in work on friday ;)
In other news... local council election results today. Hopefully they won't be quite as extreme as the general elections. NINE dup seats and 5 sinn fein. God help us all.
