(no subject)

Yay for bank holidays. Yay for lazy weekends.

I have even Done Stuff today. Admittedly I did go back to bed this morning, but once I did get up I walk to the shops, which I haven't done in ages. May have to ban myself from the car once Ziggy goes out for the summer, I have got much too dependant on it, and much too lazy.

Then, I gardened. Well, weeded. A very long over due weeding too, I now actually have flower beds again rather than a tangled mess of grass, dandelions and other assorted weeds. Still need to dig out the beds then get some pretty new plants to go with the roses and other flowers that survived the winter (and the weeds).
But I have made a Start, which is good ;)

Not so good is the cat, who is staying in the vet's overnight to have the extremely horrible and deep cut on her leg stitched up. Apparently because it is so deep it will need a drain put in too, which sounds very Icky. I am not normally particularly squeamish, but... ew.
It is very odd not having her here but she should be home tomorrow, tho in what state I'm not sure.

Cat Update!

Phoned vet, cat is all stitched up and ready to go home this evening, with all 4 legs still attached and without any of the other the horrors I was imagining last night when I couldn't sleep. She has to wear one of those hood things tho, which means getting the litter tray out from wherever its been lurking, as I don't think she'll fit through the cat flap.

More tablets too. Still the cuts from the last round have healed up nicely so I should be fine ;p

Very relieved she's ok. Didn't realise quite how worried I was til I started shaking phoning the vet.
Also seem to have lost ability to write proper sentences. Cat trauma has turned me into Bridget Jones. V. disturbing.
