Jun. 10th, 2005 12:26 pmHurrah for fridays! It has been quite a busy and productive week for once. I even fixed typos!It is going to be a busy weekend too tho;p

reuss's hen day/night, which promises to be much fun.
Home on sunday and then sunday evening The Mother arrives for the night. Which means sometime between getting home and her arriving I have to do a Speed Tidy. With a hangover :p
However I did manage to make a start on this already, brushed floors, made up bed in spare room, emptied litter tray and banished it back to the depths of the garage, filled dishwasher (I love my dishwasher) and cleaned sink.
The sink cleaning is due to http://www.flylady.net which I came to throvashti and which, while hideously twee and preachy, may go someway to helping me get the house vaguely presentable before anavrinny & heliotic come to stay; hopefully it will also help prevent heliotic from dying a cat/dust induced death while here...
I may however not be able to stick her twee and patronising tips for that long, since already things like this - Get in the habit of making up the bed as soon as possible - the minute your dear husband gets up. This will keep you from going back to bed. have had me screaming 'why can't HE make it?' at the monitor ;p
My mother would love this woman.
Also took the cat to the vet to get stitches removed, apparently its all healing up well and she can go outside once more meaning a) I have ditched the litter tray (hurrah) and b) I no longer have to listen to her constant whining to get out. Much rejoicing all round.
It's also looking like July is going to be a month of mudmeet frolicing, with london on the 3rd, creewood on the 9th andreuss's wedding on the 18th. Then of course sister's baby is due on the 24th. Hopefully she will manage to hold on til then ;p
