Aug. 2nd, 2005 01:50 pmSo sleepy. In fact so sleepy I haven't even the energy to be my usual extremely-grouchy-when-tired self :p
This may have been made worse by the bottle and a half of wine Ruthie and I polished off last night while watching more buffy. Also introduced her to Firefly, which she loved (naturally).
Can't WAIT for the film.
Went up to the stables after work, actually managed to catch zigs with no hassle at all - she's just too fat and lazy to run away :p Even Dessie thinks she's too fat, which has to be a first.
Gave her a quick check over and a brush up, she's in pretty good shape apart from the enormous grass belly, and has kept some muscle too, which will help. Her feet are pretty bad tho, so can't do too much til the farrier comes. I'll probably lunge her tomorrow night, see how she's going and remind her all about Work. Poor Ziggy ;p
Coralie was very impressed with the enormous horsie and even sat on her back briefly. They're heading back to Dublin this evening, so hopefully I can get an early - and unbroken - night's sleep. May even make it onto the mud.
It's been lovely having them to stay, but it would be even lovelier if I didn't have to go to work too ;p
Altho, surprisingly, I have actually been working this morning. Go me! Currently tho I'm mostly working at keeping my eyes open.
