Sep. 20th, 2005 02:13 pmNothing like starting the day off with a funeral to brighten the spirits. I guess it was about due, it must be a couple of months since the last one.
Bah, anyway, had coincidentally booked the afternoon off to take delivery of shiny new headboard I ordered so long ago I can't remember what it looks like. I think it might be something like this - http://www.bedworld.net/beds_mattresses/BENEVAHB--/Bentley_Designs_Eva_Headboard_Beds.html.
It'll be a nice surprise when it does arrive. So I have the afternoon to sit about the house. Have already gone at the cat with the flea comb and done some hoovering.
Mostly I am now avoiding having to fill in the insurance renewal form, which has to be done and posted today. I have no idea why forms give me such mental blocks but I hate them. HATES them.
Other plans for this afternoon include watching some more firefly in advance of Serenity tonight (SIX HOURS TO GO), uploading the pics of Ziggy from the weekend and, once the headboard man arrives, going to ride, hopefully before it starts raining.
But first, the dreaded form filling. Woe.
