Oct. 19th, 2005 01:32 pmBah. I actually remembered to bring not only Thud! but also Good Omens for Pterry signy goodness, got to easons and it was cancelled :(
On the other hand the migraine has mostly faded away (still lingering traces but as long as there's no sudden movements, bright lights or loud noises I should be fine) so it's not all bad.
Have managed to convert Alice very firmly to Firefly love after getting her to Serenity on sat. night, tho now she's pestering me for fanfic recs to keep her going. A couple of other non-FF fans at work have gone to seen the film too and really loved it.
Still haven't seen it in a full theatre yet - it wasn't promoted much here in NI at all, most people I talk to haven't even heard of it, which is sad - everyone who does go so far has enjoyed it. In short, you should go. Even if you're sick of all the online hype, it's a good film, really ;)
