Lazy Day!

Yes, I know the past few days have hardly been stress-filled and action packed, but there has been Stuff to do every day, Places To Be and People To Meet. Not that this is any way a bad thing, Christmas was lovely and it was especially great to see thesme_01, if only briefly (and not just because she brought the best t-shirt ever). Also lovely to see Susannah who was home from the states briefly and go mucking about at the stables with her, even if Ziggy wasn't there to muck about with.

Today, however I have nothing to do, nowhere to go and no-one to meet, and it is bliss! The only thing I *have* to do is go up to the stables later and bring zigs in from the field and feed her; otherwise the day is mine!
Actually yesterday evening was All Mine too, after leaving S. to airport, which I celebrated with a bottle of cava and sitting up til 5 watching crap tv and reading for no other reason than I didn't have to go to bed.

Plan for today is - lie-in (done), long hot bath with book, read more, watch some Dr Who/Northern Exposure, go to stables, idle, idle some more, eat, idle.
Tomorrow back to work (woe :/) then a fairly hectic weekend of Cousin's Wedding Saturday, which will be either a damn good night or endlessly dull, depending on how good I am avoiding the few Evil Relatives present and how drunk I get, then off to Dublin New Year's Day (if I can drive) for fun and champagne. Then back to reality Monday and work Tuesday, and the joys of January.

So today I am making the most of it ;)
