Happyhappy Joyjoy!
Nov. 9th, 2006 10:59 amMorning all! How are we today?
I am mostly good because, after being off yesterday, my brain is convinced it is Monday, then I remember it is Thursday and go YAY HAPPYHAPPY JOY JOY. This has been happening all morning. I am too easily pleased sometimes ;p
Also, now I have a shiny New Boiler that is not so old and rattly that it wakes me up in the mornings when it comes on, nor do I have to turn the tv up to hear over it any more. More importantly, I have a swanky new digital timer IN THE HOUSE. Oh yes. No more having to get dressed to go out and turn the heating on for me (or rather, pulling nearest coat and footwear on over pjs)!
To add still further to my joy, the nice Boiler Man even fixed the kitchen sink - which I thought would only take 5 minutes when I asked him, but actually took nearly half an hour with much fiddling and Trips to the Van for Bits, which I felt a bit bad about. Especially when he didn't charge me any extra, tho given he got 800 quid out of me anyway, I think he did all right.
Spent the day between chatting online and clearing away the last remnants of the party - including gathering up the Abandoned Bits of Costumes - 2 blonde wigs, a cloak, a purple stetson, false eyelashes and nails and a belt, to mention but a few.
But in summary, YAY thursday! YAY boiler! YAY sink! EW false eyelashes!
