Nov. 16th, 2006 04:34 pmRocky Horror at the theatre last night was excellent! Very good performances all round - particularly from the guys playing Frank and Rocky. And Christopher Biggins as the narrator was great, especially with the audience participation bits.
Very very funny all round, well worth seeing if it's coming anywhere near you (and you like RHPS of course ;p)
Some of the audience had really gone to town with the dressing up too, while there were some who looked very much like they'd wandered into the wrong show. Especially the very prim looking Jewish Family in one of the boxes.
Then, fatefully 'a quiet drink or two' was suggested after the show. Which seemed like a good idea at the time. Drinking wine also seemed like a good idea, cos I'd had some at the interval.
Unforunately, it turned out to be a very very BAD idea as the wine was obviously EVIL and made me very ill. WOE. I think we had a good night, but I don't really remember much of it... I did make it to work by lunchtime, so go me! Still feel shite tho.
ION The mother finally got GOOD news (well, relatively good) from a doctor for once - it turns out that what they thought was spinal stenosis is actually a slipped disc! Which is a bit of a relief.
Also all systems are GO for her house move on Monday, so I have a happy weekend of packing and being ordered about to look forward to, yay ;)
