Sep. 24th, 2007 11:01 amIt's definitely September now isn't it *eyes rainy grey skies*. Tho since the month is nearly over, shouldn't complain too much I guess.
Weekend alternated between being completely swamped by family - one Aunt was visiting from England, so all the others, along with with various cousins and children of cousins came calling to see here - and periods of blissful quiet
when they'd all head off for lunch or shopping etc.
Also a large degree of boredom, mostly alleviated by playing scrabble on Facebook. You should all add the Scrabulous app. thingy NOW and play it with me. Go on, you know you want to!
This morning has been futilely spent trying to get someone to refer me for the physiotherapy. Rather naively, I thought it would all be arranged to follow on from the op, but alas no. Of course I *should* have realised when I had to spend two weeks phoning people to get the operation in the first place, but there you go.
Can't get hold of the consultant's secretary and the best the GP's office could offer was "phone first thing tomorrow morning and you might get an appointment next tuesday". WTF? Why can't you give me an appointment for next tuesday NOW? Might actually be worth trying the GP in belfast and see if I can get to him any sooner...
PS -has Gmail died for anyone else? I can't get into it at all. Tis working again now. The world is just thwarting me at every turn to day. ANd the bloody consultant's office are STILL not answering the phone. Meh.
