Stardust, etc
Dec. 19th, 2007 02:15 pmGood things last night - Went to see Stardust with E. from work and loved it. Have to reread the book to see where they changed things, but overall I think they kept the *feel* of the book very well and the changes (that I remembered from last time i read it) all seemed to work well. AND it gave Very Proper Treatment (so as not to spoil anyone) to Ricky Gervaise.
Has anyone seen Beowulf btw? I've heard mixed reviews, tho I'd still like to see it.
Not so good - the fucking filling i got put in YESTERDAY fucking fell out again just before the film started. Which means going back to the dentist again, but probably not til after Christmas now. WOE and WAILY.
Today I have manage to sleep in (despite being wide awake between 6 & half 7) and then go do some christmas shopping! I have STARTED! And almost finished too, cos I'm not doing a lot this year ;p
Now, I should probably do some work.
