Dec. 24th, 2007 12:15 pmAm home for christmas! which is much more appealing (or less dull) now there is broadband and the laptop ;p
The holiday got into full swing on Friday with too many christmas parties (2!) and LOTS of cider. Also cigar smoking. And singing. And shouting COCK loudly outside the pub with the smokers. Good times ;)
Saturday was possibly the Laziest Day Ever. Bed, with laptop and snacks. Til...about 5pm. Then long bath in lovely WARM bathroom now the heater is fixed, followed by an evening on the sofa and telly, pure slothful bliss!
Sunday, more bed, then packing stuff to head home before embarking on the Epic Quest For Katy, in the Portal To Hell that is Tescos just before Christmas. After a long and arduous struggle, the prize was mine, with only the Trial of The Checkout Queues to battle through before I could win free. Eventually tho (after about an HOUR) I escaped and with just a minor struggle to get out of the carpark I was away and made it safely home, with the precious cargo intact.
Got home just in time for Family Dinner, which was followed by an evening of mudding and fine televisual treats, including Top Gear (yay OLIVER is back!) and a thing aboutmidgets little people watched with
thipe who is a Very Bad Man and definitely going to hell. I will no doubt see him there ;p
Today will be much the same, present wrapping, more family dinners and lounging by the TV.
Hope you are all enjoying your christmas in whatever way you see fit!
