Jul. 9th, 2008 10:53 amWent to see Prince Caspian last night and found it hugely enjoyable. Tho possibly NOT for the reasons the film makers intended. There was much sniggering in at Inappropriate Moments (partly due to reading
mistful's parody before going, partly just due to the SlashySlashy nature of the film).
Also, my memory of the book is vague, but I'm pretty sure Caspian WASN'T Inigo Montoya in it. Must read it again.
I also don't remember Caspian being quite so strapping and hot and Grown Up either, but I'm not complaining about that part ;p
Then I came home and Everything Went Wrong. Plan HAD been to do invoices for work, then watch the undoubtedly incredible awfulness of BONEKICKERS - crime fighting archaeologists!
But I was THWARTED on both counts - firstly by having left all the invoice stuff in work and secondly by the cable box going on the blink leaving me with NO TV AT ALL.
So after about an hour fiddling about with cables, tv setting and getting nowhere, I threw a tantrum (and the remotes :p), gave up and watched Firefly instead. Yay for dvds! Time to order digital tv I think tho.
