So, overnight winter eh? Who knew putting the clocks back would have such an immediate effect!
No snow here as yet, just cold and sleet so far. Hopefully the weather will be slightly better by the weekend. Tho, as long as it does not affect flights, I don't really care.

I have, by now, just about recovered from *last* weekend. Ankle thankfully was pretty much better again by yesterday, tho was achy while riding.
Riding lessons are still going well, got The Awkward Horse last night (there's always one), which made things more difficult, but I managed. Tho the instructor 'helping' by shaking a rattly hoop at the bloody animal was not really how I'd have chosen to get into canter...

Came home, collapsed on sofa with tea and painkillers and watched Dead Set on E4 - zombies invade the Big Brother set. It is very entertaining so far, standard zombie formula, with added Zombie Davina ;) Tho they move very fast, am curious to see if they'll start getting slower as they decay a bit more. Yay for zombies!

Which is about it for this week so far. Tonight, must organise packing for a weekend of Literary Talks,author kidnapping, Refined Conversation, Cider and General Horror in Reading, since it looks like more wooly jumpers will be required now. And sleep. Really have to try getting to bed before half 1.
