Nov. 27th, 2008 10:09 pmDeclan's funeral today was heartbreaking. So very sad.
Tho in some way heartening to see the hundreds who turned out for him, and to support his family.
Also was good to see some cousins I hadn't seen in many years - and as usual promise to try and meet on happier occasions. We never seem to manage tho.
If you have a God or Gods you follow, send a thought their way for Declan, and for Roisin and their four kids. They're going to need it.
it's a bit weird to be able to link to a family funeral. It was surreal to get home, turn on the tv and see it on the 6 oclock news.
