Dec. 1st, 2008 11:35 amGood morning! and a chilly one it is too. Sunny tho, which is always nice.
Have we all had a good weekend? Mine was very refined.
_unhurt_ and I had a delightful trip to Dublin on Friday, which began with a lovely relaxing drive, then much wine and food and wine and cider with Thesme, watching Esperanto Shatner in a v. odd film, a bit of Knight rider, then much dancing about the kitchen (from thesme) and singing Songs of Joy. And a LOT of talking. Which was wonderful.
Saturday mostly consisted of hangovers, tea drinking and Brunch with
lazy_hoor, and sort of Mr T's friend Jimmy, who kept running in, randomly muttering about bikes, then disappearing again. Then more watching of Knight Rider - with added archaeology! Oh the excitement. Devon and Bonnie were SO doing it. Also, am concerned Michael and Kitt may have been... closer than I realised as a child.
But alas we had to leave and drive home. With the added fun of randomly misting-up windows, which made the motorway more exciting. Got home, collapsed on sofa, watched crap telly.
Sunday - Family Stuff. up early for church, then a very very nomalicious lunch. Finally got back home, meaning to Do Stuff, but instead spent the evening phoning people and watching Strictly Come Dancing. They do like to get Austin showing his chest. That Paso... Oh my!
Had early night and much sleeping and generally felt a MILLION times better than I had last week. So, YAY!
Today, I got the train to work (hurrah!) AND have a date for new kitchen arriving - NEXT TUESDAY OMG. OMGOMG. Apparently co-ordinating getting the gas hob installed with the worktops etc could be tricky, but will see. OMG.
How are you?
