Jan. 8th, 2009 11:42 amI really need to get more sleep. I *nearly* made it to be at a reasonable time last night. I was SO close. Got off the mud at half 12ish, then for some reason felt that was the right time to archive the journal (having downloaded ljarchive earlier).
That was fine, didn't take too long. But then I started reading old entries. Til after 2 :/
I'd forgotten I was doing this as far back as 2003; it was interesting to read back over it.
Initially I was thinking not much has changed since then , but from reading it, I'm much happier (or at least much less pissed-off/bored) with work these days than I was back then, which is good to see.
In fact, happier in general, tho given what was going on early 2003 (lots of death), that's hardly surprisng...
So maybe it was worth the lack of sleep to realise while on the surface life, the routines and places are all pretty much the same, underneath, it is fundamentally a happier and better place. Yay me ;p
So there's today's question - how is your life changed/stayed the same over the course of the last 5 years?
