Weekend Adventures In Reading
Apr. 20th, 2009 01:37 pmSo. Very. Tired.
Had a wonderful weekend in Reading, celebrating
shambelina's birthday. Met up with old friends and made some new ones, both very good things to be doing! Also drank a lot of cider, mostly on friday night, and didn't get nearly enough sleep on either night.
There was horror and wrongness and dancing and shouting and ranting and singing and games and live re-enactment of that rugby shirt swapping video, which very happily happened *before* I'd drunk so much katy things had gone hazy ;p Truly a memory to cherish!
Also shopping, in which no handbags or makeups were purchased, honest, present buying, book buying - including Pride and Prejudice And Zombies (which is hilarious and made me giggle for most of the flight home), extended (and possibly heated) discussions about Fine Art, similarly extended (and possibly heated) discussions about What I Actually Do For A Living, barbeque, cake, strangling, lots of people being Dead To various other people Now, hideously gross pound shop toys (note to
thipe - so VERY dead to me now)... and lots of other stuff I am too tired to relate now or was too drunk to remember clearly.
In short? A Very Fine Weekend Indeed, so many thanks to Shambelina and
special_time for having us all over to wreck their house have a wonderful time yet again!
The only downside was not having enough time to catch up with people individually, but I am making Plans to rememdy that in the near future ;)
