The things you learn....
May. 11th, 2009 03:57 am*starting* to defrost the freezer at 7 in the evening, when you're not quite sure how long it's been since the door didn't quite close properly, but it looks a bit frosted up, is possibly NOT the wisest plan.
But then once you've started and discovered it's not 'a bit' but 'totally' you're kind of commited to the whole enterprise.
Still, on the plus side, I got tiles rather than lino for the new kitchen floor, and there were a pile of towels waiting to be washed anyway, so the kitchen is more damp than flooded, and the floor did need washed anyway. Also, I'd already planned to take tomorrow off work to sort out stuff around the house, tho I suspect what I will mostly be doing now is sleeping.
Oh, and I also somehow managed to fail at bean sprouting. I am really not just cut out for domestication.
Need more minions. Also sleep.
