(no subject)

Hurrah Friday at last! Tho a very wet and grey Friday it is! Still, in but a few hours it will be pub time, with cider aplenty ;) tho since tomorrow I have a 3 hr drive to go visit a v good friend, I may have to attempt moderation...

ION it has been a busy week with work and horse. Joined the lesson again last night and not only did more jumping, did a course! Well, a course of 4, but still! There were pretty tight turns between the first couple, especially for a big horse like Ziggy, but we made it (just)! I think focussing on getting the turns distracted me from the terror of the actual jumps, which were a fair bit bigger than I was prepared for (have a photo, but can't post it from phone, maybe later).
Felt very accomplished, and in shock, afterwards. Also completely exhausted as am still v unfit and there was Lots of trotting / cantering prior to jumping terror.

So decided to skip pilates and due to still not quite having the hang of new phone, sent v bizarre text THREE times to instructor before getting it right. Putting the 'send' button where the delete button would be on a keyboard is a FLAW htc!

Anyway, as the rain shows no sign of stopping I shall have to brave it to get food before I die of starvation...
