Remember Michael Stone and his crazy crazy attack on Stormont that was foiled only by a dastardly revolving door?

Well. APPARENTLY, it wasn't an attack at all!
It was, quoth his lawyer, in fact, a piece of performance art replicating a terrorist attack"

I noted the lawyer code used by his QC - that his instructions were. This is lawyer code for my client is telling me to say this and not even I believe it lest you - the judge and all my lawyer colleagues - should think I have taken leave of my senses and that I came up with this less than half baked claim which will only amuse the headline writers and has no chance whatsoever of succeeding.

What none of the reports give is the vital information as to whether, or not, he managed to keep a straight face while saying it. Or is this all laying ground for the insanity defence?
