You have 144 new emails

GROSS!

Yes, back at work, finally. Go me!

Initial sweep of emails reduced the number to 66 'possibly relevant'.
Second sweep reduced it to 39 'probably relevant'.

This could take some time.

Woo, fat bob had a baby? And wtf RAMESES *waves at [livejournal.com profile] _unhurt_*

Also. While I was off, someone made off with my mouse. Phoned IT to report this dastardly theft only to be told 'you'll have to email us'. Attempted futiley to remember how to work computer without one. Gave in and made off with Guy At Desk Opposite's mouse, but as he uses a laptop, he doesn't really mind ;p

It's so good to be back.

i almost p.s.'d last night's post to say HELLISON ARE YOU STILL ALIVE? so it is nice to see you are.

144? erk. and mouse theft, the scurvy dogs! (you're lucky there's anything left on your desk at all, all things considered)

wtf rameses indeed. (there was a BET: FB made wild claims about naming his firstborn with stupid (middle) names. SG said if it went on the birth certificate he would put £100 into a bank acount for the kid; otherwise FB has to pay SG £100. the birth certificate is to be produced in evidence!)

Make a raid and regain your mouse! Leave a trap!

Glad you are better and alive again!

Lotus Gloats doesn't actually tell you how many E-mails have arrived - the easiest way to count is to tick all of the new ones and then look at the total when you've finished. 132 in my case this morning...
9 were junk. They went. Then I picked out the ones that had been done in my absence and filed them, cleared out the global announcements and moved the rest into "To do". That left another 29 to be deleted, and over a page of actual work. O NOES.
OTOH, people have been glad to see me! (Some haven't, but that's because I wouldn't do what they wanted me to.)
