Aren't weeks that start with a bank holiday great? I keep thinking it's Monday then remembering it's Tuesday and feel happy. Then I remember I have the rest of the week off and JOY ensues. Also, it is my birthday this weekend. HURRAH!

The weekend was a very lovely one, which mostly featured going to Dublin to meet the lovely lasses o' lj - namely thesme (our gracious hostess), fragglechick, cosmicdancer_, lazy_hoor, mollydot, being_here and walklikeacat (who isn't a lass, but is still lovely and deserves some sort of medal for not running out screaming).

And such a charming day we had.
We had lunch, and attempted going to the pub, but it was very full of people drinking and shouting at the rugby, so we went back to

thesme_01's place instead to, well, drink and shout at the rugby. Tho our shouting may have involved more 'ooh BOTTOMS' and 'look, they're all lying on top of each other again' than that in the pub.
There was also much blaming of the bloody Scots for being too bloody useless to stop bloody France getting that last bloody try *mutters*.

After that we had a very convivial evening of sipping our drinks, eating v. lovey food, discussing the weightier matters of the day and were generally very Refined and Genteel Ladies; I'm sure

walklikeacat will recover from the mental scarring eventually.
It may take me somewhat longer to recover from the trauma of having to share a bed with Thesme in Daniel O'Donnell mode *shudders*.

Sunday I ~~fled~~ sadly took my leave to battle northwards through the snow and sleet storms to go be a Good Daughter and do family stuff, which was nice.

Yesterday I had planned a day of busily tidying and cleaning and making the house all lovely to recieve

walklikeacat on Wednesday but somehow got overtaken by Extreme Laziness and spent the entire day doing... absolutely nothing. And it was Wonderful.

Speed tidying tonight tho ;p

I, personally, was shocked and horrified at the sexist attitudes demonstrated to the poor dear rugby boys. You have all tarnished the sport for me.

And, as I keep saying, please don't tidy on my behalf as am a durty burd ;p

But all in all it has been a very refined and relaxed weekend :D

It's ok, they've not been anywhere near thesme. So they are neither moist nor encrusted.

I think you are failing to appreciate the level of Mess that my house achieves. Other people have said similar things before, and regretted it.
