Alas no :/ they took off the cast, check the wounds and said 'hmm. that looks a bit wonky, we'll need to straighten it' and went TWISTY-STRAIGHTEN-HOLD while they put the new cast on.
It was SORE. Luckily ihad the forethought to bring my painkillers with me and gulped them down as soon as we got out of there.
