So, Friday the 13th!!! OOooooOOOoOoO

Is anyone superstitious about this? It's never bothered me at all really.

Today has so far progressed much like every lately, even down to the rain.

Tho of course yesterday the rain was added entertainment as it made watching the Twelfth Parades so much more fun as they got wetter and wetter (petty, yes. but funny!). AND it got sunny in the evening so I even got OUTSIDE to the garden for a bit. Such excitement.

The week has been mostly spent watching crap telly and mudding.

Even took myself off to BP for a change of scenery and spent many happy hours pottering round the shops, buying a custom made outfit for the next Social Occasion (when IS the Assassains ball anyway?). Also checking out the furniture shops, as boredom has got so great I have finally given in and decided to get a Player House and even signed up for the AM council to do so, since that's where I spend most of my time these days anyway.
Tho I have to say (and without bias, since it was nothing to do with me) that BP does have much better furniture on offer ;p
Still, it'll be a fun distraction getting somewhere and kitting it out. Then rekitting it out when it all gets nicked by npc thieves/eaten in bugs/disappears in crashes... Maybe I will even have a housewarming party, so I can wear my fancy new outfit!


Hopefully next week work will finally get their fingers out and get me stuff to do from home, and Monday week, the cast comes off! And I may even get back to my own house, hurrah!

i had to check the bbc news site on the 12th, to see how it went. i was also amused by the rain. and the many people claiming they are now aiming for a family-friendly carnival atmosphere. so that's why there are often small children learning important lessons like baton twirling and throwing beer cans at people who don't look sufficiently orange!
