hellisonSo, in a shocking unleg-related development, the last few days have been fun - almost like being back to normal life again!
On Wed. evening we had a surprise visit from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tiquetoque, due to a mix up over hotel bookings he ended up staying at Hotel Hellison for the night. So there was take-away and drinking, hurrah! I had almost two whole tins of Strongbow and was So. Very. Drunk. Cheap date doesn't being to describe it ;p
Thursday was mostly taken up with working (largely catching up on work NOT done wednesday ;p) and then thursday evening_unhurt_ came to visit, bringing with her wonderful gifts of fizzy wines and Kinder Surprise eggs (mini key-car! yay!)
Fizzy wines and cider were drunk,walklikeacat was subjected to mild horror and, thanks to the wonder of youtube, many silly 80s pop videos were watched, among other delights. Tho there was a LOT of judging of my mouse - which, to be fair, is the worst, most useless mouse in the world ;p
I was very daring and had a glass of Katy in addition to the wines (2 glasses!) and cider (2 tins!) and was thus very very drunk by 3am, when we finally went to bed.
I even had a little baby hangover this morning, which was great, since I just slept it off - also the longest lie-in I've had since I broke myself, as being stuck in a hospital bed does NOT count as a lie-in in any normal sense of the word.
Now just got a bit more work to do then it is the Weekend, which will probably mostly involve sitting about drinking fizzy wines/cider, but as that's what I'd have done most weekends anyway, it's like having my life back again ;)
Ooh also, Assassin's Guild ball tomorrow on the mud - if i can't get out to real parties, I can at least go to a virtual one ;p
Found the camera again finally, so I may post very belated holiday pics too. Not that there are many of them...
