I knew i'd forgot a whine in the original post. Re. operation. Apparently I will have it on A Wednesday. They just don't know WHICH wednesday. They will only know the monday of whatever week it is due, when I will get a phone call to say 'come in the day after tomorrow so we can yank bits of metal out of your leg under local anaethestic'.
This will be 'sometime in september'. Which narrows it down...
