One of my colleagues (LaughingBoy, if you read my work posts rants) had his ankle pinned after breaking it. He's now been de-pinned because they were inserted incorrectly and started to poke at the skin. (I saw this. It was Not Nice.)
I suspect that the discharge Doctor had been Experimenting in the narcotics cupboard!
