I have been pondering this one overnight (good question!) and basically the short answer is NO.
I'd find it hard to live with anyone, but the broody heros of most fiction would, I'd imagine, be a right pain in the arse to actually have to live with. Mr Darcy - along with all the Heyer heros and most historical studs - is fine on paper, but in reality, having to cope with that stuck up arrogance, not to mention the whole 'don't worry your pretty little head' attitude would lead to stabbing.
Cap'n Mal - oh dear me. The man can fill a pair of tight trousers, but the Angst and Woe and Overthinking would drive you insanne.
Jayne - heh. the opposite. He'd constantly be out fighting/drinking and god knows what else. Great for a a fling tho ;)
I could go on but... yes. In short, I dont' think I could actually live with any of them ;p
