Physio time again! Am obviously getting better cos I don't have to go back for two weeks now ;)
Greatly impressed the nice physio lady by walking in on just one crutch, tho I can still only go short distances before it starts to hurt LOTS, but getting there.
Tested movement range, which is good and strength, which is not so good, so now have stretchy bands and a list of exercises to do pulling it in various directions every day.
Then teh fun of balancing - on a wobbly board this time, not the cushiony thing, which was tricky, but I sort of had the hang of it after a bit.
Then - HORROR - she made me try and stand on one leg. Was not so good at this - couldn't get go of the bar completely and also got a sore knee trying. So have to work on that, and got more exercises to build up knee and quads and stuff.
BUT she did say it was all going well and I'd come on more in the last 2 weeks than in the previous 4. So yay! Just have to keep doing the exercise and building it all up.
Got 2 weeks to work on all that before I have to go back - and before I go to london too!
Of course on the slightly down side, it means I have to work a full week next week - first one in 6 months! However it does mean that this weekend, I can pack the cats up and move back home properly - which has taken slightly longer to get to than I thought it might ;p

plans have been scuppered slightly by death of a relative, now have to go to funeral tomorrow instead of work, so no moving back just yet. May still be tomorrow evening. Or next weekend. or...s omething. ONE DAY I WILL BE BACK.
