Using arthropods instead of insects and crustaceans would save a couple of words. You wouldn't like to add an interest in spiders you would? Just to round it out.

aha! I *knew* there was a word that would cover the lobsters AND the weevils, but I just couldn't think of it...

The spider could wriggle and jiggle and tickle inside her...

(I thought it was athropod, but wasn't sure, so checked crustacean in wikipedia)
