Now I want mediaevalist reality TV shows. All the drama of sitting around having reading groups giggling at unintended silliness in Haveloc the Dane and speculating on word origins, discussing Richard I's sexuality over coffee, sitting around in seminars on the principle of pleasure in Sir Gawain and hte Green Knight and going 'hmm' then going out to dinner afterward to celebrate the launch of Helen Dell's new book. But mostly, just sitting around for hours and hours alone in your room, reading.
