Yes, luckily booking a single day off here tends to be more a case of just saying 'I won't be in Monday', provided there's nothing pre-arranged/urgent/outstanding waiting to be done. Also, by luck, I had no meetings or anything set up so mostly it involved a bit of a dashing about friday making sure anything that *needed* done was sorted. So it all worked out fine!
