So, Hallowe'en weekend, I shall be in London. Well, reading, but still

On that friday, yet again by STRANGE COINCIDENCE Neil Gaiman will be in London doing a talk/ signing as detailed here -

Blackwell Charing Cross Road are very pleased to announce an exclusive London event with Neil Gaiman, to celebrate the launch of his fantastic new novel, The Graveyard Book.

Join us on the 31st October, Halloween, for a talk and signing, starting at 6.30pm.

Tickets are priced at 8 pounds and 6 pounds (concessions), and will entitle you to 2 pounds off either edition of the book on the night. The book officially goes on sale on the 30th October, so this should be a fun one.

Tickets can be purchased in two ways: come into the shop (Blackwell, 100 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0JG), or contact us by phone on 020 7292 5100 and we will send your tickets out to you. We expect the phone lines to be very busy for the first couple of days, so bear with us!

Well, as far as I can work out, you set up the Big Trap Box, put the Shiny Author Things underneath it, Author goes 'OOh, shiny things!' and goes to investigate. I pull the string, box comes down and he is TRAPPED! HURRAH!

I think we always were pretty revolting ;p There was a lot of us about at the weekend tho, Drakkos, gruper, magpie, dogbolter, even I logged on. And mumbled on Cre about how it wasn't like this in teh olden days, and all that ;)

I've been to a talk he did before (see icon) and it was very good - he gives v. funny and interesting answers ;) it would be fabulously amazing if you could come along! and there's no real rush to plan i think ( i may just phone and book a handful of tickets and see who wants them nearer the time)

6.30 on a Friday.. hmm.. how to get off work at 4.30, home and a train to the Londons in time. Oh yeah, I'll be in a flat 15 minutes from work and 5 minutes from a station, I should be able to get there with loads of time to spare (depending where it in in the Londons).
