Judging from the little boys I know, trains, dragons, building blocks, jigsaws, reading stories, telling stories, being part of stories, balls, stopping them from throwing other things, answering questions, drawing, peek-a-boo, attacking castles, saying om nom nom, being a train carriage (ie, running around), cars.
For girls it's dragons, princesses, admiring prettiness, reading stories, drawing, balls, running around, watching her climb (ready to catch, just in case), pirates, fairies, being a witch, peek-a-boo, jigsaws.
More variation in the boys because I know more boys (above is pretty much one girl). But really, I agree with _unhurt_. There's as much variation between the boys as there is between the boys & girls. It would probably make as much sense to split into "likes makey-up things and running around", "likes building and throwing things" and "is a baby".
