Both of which are more expensive than the equivelant from Feltham - 2 x £2 bus fares and one £7.50 travel card (£11.50 versus £41.50).
£30 is a not inconsiderable amount. And the St Giles is actually a good hotel. So unless reading manages to be just as good and at least £30 cheaper, it's a worse deal.
