Am I the ONLY person in LJ land actually at work today (we get mon/tues instead of fri/mon for some reason)? Tho apparently they're shutting up the building by 3, so that's not so bad.

Over the weekend I will mostly be doing the family thing, then on sunday evening

thipe arrives, to assist me by doing Manly Things around the house (lifting heavy things, wielding a big tool, that sort of thing), followed by much drinking of cider, watching of dvds and playing of wii. Possibly even some sight seeing if weather/hangovers permit.

What are you all up to with your eastertime?

I should be painting the kitchen. Instead I am re-reading American Gods. I suspect this might be the pattern for the weekend ;)

I have to say, I'm not sure there'll be much motivation going on either direction ;p

I should be stripping down the kitchen, throwing away junk, cleaning everything and putting down ant powder.

I'm not sure that I can be arsed, though. It doesn't help that

you might be! my EX-workplace (*pause for Dance Of Freedom*) switched to friday/monday this year - though we/they used to take monday/tuesday.

am i still invited to visit thipe's big tool? (on monfay i assume as i am not much for the wii? or is he taking his tool home on monday?)

you are indeed! Sunday or monday is fine, he goes home tuesday! possibly pints in bobs monday night?

My eastertime will be spent trying to get rid of the RAGE that still plagues me. This will most likely include a lot of time under the duvet with good books and at least one 5+ mile walk if the weather gets better *glares at the threatening rain clouds*

Although I'm being slightly productive on the MUD atm so it isn't all bad.

I have played Okami till 3am, and now have a hangover despite not drinking much. And now just got up hurrah!

I am thinking about making hot cross buns for tastiness now :D

Later I shall have to polish my big tool in anticipation of Sunday.

Every couple of years, the kitchen and bathroom get invaded by ants. So far, they seem not to have found the cupboards where the bread and sugar-based things live, though, so that's good.

It's still a pain.

Going to New Zealand!

This Easter, I will be mostly working at work on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is ENFORCED HOLIDAY DUE TO STUPID LAWS.

However, Monday is my first shift out on the Mean Streets of Chester fighting crime. Or, wandering around Blacon police station trying not to look like a clueless newbie, whichever comes easier.
